ALEXIS FISHMAN
Alexis graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2004 with a B A in Music Theatre. She won critical acclaim for her portrayal of Mary O'Brien (Young Dusty) in the smash hit musical Dusty, earning a prestigious 2006 Helpmann Award nomination for her performance. Since then, Alexis has performed the roles of 'Alice' in Canned Laughter's production of Closer, 'Little Sally' in Urinetown also for Canned Laughter, 'Lil’ in Troupers with Barry Otto for the STC, and was most recently seen as 'Kylie' in the workshop production of The Beauty Spot for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. In October this year, 2007, Alexis will be travelling to the Middle East to entertain the Aussie troops and is thrilled to be playing the role of Marianne in this production of Shout!
